Damn it, Skip...That post should come with a warning! I was not prepared for that, lol!

 

I wasnt prepared either!! LOL everyone feels fat around the holidays...well i do but now i don't after seeing that LOL

 

No.... I don't think I'm fat. Somehow I get the impression that guy never thought he was skinny either.

good on him for trying to make his life better

 

Good for him being able to lose that weight and try to make a difference in his life and living conditions!

I am sure it was very difficult for him to do given that people view obesity as a persons own doing and tend to be rather critical of those who are obese. They tend to be damned for being over weight and then criticized for any attempt at losing it that does not fit with what others feel they should do.

Hopefully he will be able to have the skin flaps removed, be it that the powers that be reverse their decision to not pay for it or that he finds a way to pay for it himself.

He's English. They don't have body hair, as they are not mammals. Rather, they're a species of seagull which has evolved to look and act like humans through convergent evolution.

 

Then where are the feathers?

 

Yep, it's really no better than playground bullying, and when it's participated in by adults, it's just even more pathetic.

 

Gotta think that to get to that weight the issue is something besides overeating.. I hope the cause is dealt with and the weight loss is a real renewed lease on life.

 

He was incarerated in his own body, no more free to move around than a prisoner. I suspect thats got to be one of the most helpless, hopeless conditions for someone to deal with. I really don't think I let someone take a picture of me unless it was part of some kind of deal to lose the weight. So he's now on crutchs because he lost muscle tone, strength from immobility?
