I've seen that mask design around. I think it has the potential to be useful, if well made, but I think it needs to be combined with a resperator canistor, really, or at least a tin can or something easily removable full of a rag soaked in the proper liquid. Also, I'd wear googles under it.


Or you can buy a less than ideal, but functional russian or other surplus gas mask cheap online, for like 12-15 bucks, often with a cartridge (probably expired, but a lot better than nothing). Or a painters/firefighting facemask should be just fine.

And yeah, gloves if you're going to throw grenades back.
