What is everyones favorite type of cat? My favorite are ragdolls. They are so fluffy and cute in general. They have such a good vibe. So fun to play with. Make the best perfect
cuddle partners...and are soo laid back and loving. I just lost my ragdoll girl due to cancer. She was my baby. I will get a new kitten soon enough. And will be another ragdoll. :).
So what is everyones favorite type of cat?

All of mine are rescue strays so there's no pedigree. 6 out of the 7 are black though....... so that may give you a clue.

I'm not breed specific... it may be strange but it's really the animal's personality that would draw me. I've found cats to be very calming. No cat at the moment as I really don't have good space for one.

You can say your favorite personality of cats too if you want. Does not need to be breed specific

I had a cat that needed to be euthanized several years ago (lymphoma)... the animal had belonged to one of my former roommates but was given to me after she "picked" me... apparently would stay hidden away until I got home from work then run out from wherever she was hiding... to the lap and knead fest... purring and friggin drooling. Crazy animal. She'd "talk" too... essentially half short meows and half purrs- in response to me.

I like cats but tend to keep a distance and let them come to me. Most (not all) do. I've been told by a number of people, including the aforementioned roommate that I have a way with cats. Most are aloof if people are too aggressive in initiating contact... a lot can be gleaned about what's going on in a cats mind by what the tail is doing.

Siberian cats are just awesome. Playful, cute, fluffy and not moody.
Once I saw a youtube video of siberian cat playing fetch.

I had a cat one that had super long white hair and was gorgeous but it was totally just a stray, everyone thought it was a specific breed, I loved that cat.

It could have been a Turkish Angora..... I had one that was a stray, or a "drop off"...... That was years ago... Good old Raith, RIP.

My favorite type of cat is a feral cat!!! I think they are amazing animals, the way they have adapted to the wild. It can't be an easy life been a feral cat, especially a feral Mama cat!

I have so much respect for these animals, i have a garden full of feral cats! I have opened up my shed for them & put nice cosy winter beds in there for them. All my feral cats are neutered except for one & hopefully if i can catch her she will be getting neutered tomorrow morning!

The thing i love most about these cats is how they form colonies & they really look out for each other! Also feral cats come in so many different colours & sizes! You never know what way they'll turn out! They are all so individual & gorgeous!!! I love them!!! :)

i have a great cat...his name is foxglove...i went to the vet on friday...i said ''my cat has another std''..the girl did not smile...i then asked about shots...she said 78 dollars and includes an exam...i said kittens are free? why would i pay so much for shots for my already old cat?..he is a work cat..he keeps the mice away from my kitchen[sometimes]...i was toying with this girl..i love my cat..so i say..''how much to put down my cat''?...she looked like she was gonna jump the counter and ''put me down'' haha...i told her i was joking but that i would take the cat to the shelter and get free shots

I've got two cats, a tabby and a calico. I'm not very well informed about breeds so i wouldnt really be able to say what my favorite is, but my favorite cat is my big fat grey tabby. She's the sweetest thing ive ever seen and she doesnt mind being man handled. Probably my second favorite cat is a feral tabby that lives outside my girlfriends moms house. His name is simba and he's sweet as can be but at the same time hes a vicious hunter. I've seen him go toe to toe with medium sized dogs but when he sees me he comes right up and starts purring. I guess I just love him cause he must know that he could fuck me up if he wanted to but he chooses to be sweet and loving.

IMHO, Manx cats are hands down the coolest domestic cats on the planet...I had a female once that as a kitten was brutally mauled by a large german shepard. she survived and grew up to be the the most vengeful critter you ever saw when it came to dogs (only large dogs though, small dogs didn't seem to be worth her time)...she would attack and or chased off any large dogs that came any where near her territory. She was so vicious, rarely was she challenged by the dog. More than once I had to get between my cat and a leashed dog with their hapless owner, admonishing them to avoid my part of the block!

I haven't had a lot of experience with purebred cats, but I did have the pleasure of encountering a couple of Ragdoll cats a few years ago--they were the sweetest cats I'd had the pleasure to know--other than mine, of course! LOL :) Colorwise, I would have to say black cats are my favorites--I have two of them--one's 18 and the other's 4! :)

I like Siamese cat's. Their pretty blue eyes. But more than that I like a calm, cuddly, laid back cat. Personality matter's most to me rather than a specific breed. I've had domestic short hair cat's all my life. I never owned a breed. I like a playful cat, that likes to be around people. Who isn't afraid of people when they come over to visit. A social cat.
