Hey everyone. So i was hit by a drunk driver monday night. My car is pretty much wrecked and a total mess. To be honest i am probably lucky i am alive. Thankfully. I did get pretty messed up though. Nothing iis broken but i have two black eyes and my whole left side from my head to my knee is pretty much one big bruise. I am really sore and it hurts to do anything. Even move. Of course i am taking drugs...but does anyone know of any natural ointments that will help with the soreness and bruising of this all? I am really hurting but amm just glad im alive and breathing even if it does hurt to breath.

that sucks. glad you're ok, and wish u a speedy recovery.

tiger balm or any generic version of it is good stuff. its good for sore muscles and sports injuries.. not sure if its what would work here. it smells like cloves and it gives a good hot tingle sensation. careful not to put it on broken skin.

Be happy that you're alive. I hope the driver that hit you was insured. You're 21 and will heal up pretty quickly I imagine- enjoy the pain killers.

I'm hesitant to suggest anything for the pain and bruising. Time will take care of that. I hope the other driver is going to take care of the damages and any medical expenses you might incur.

    Rest...

wow man, that's bad ... good you're okay man!

i think drunk driving is a problem not because people can end up killing themselves, but because they can end up killing other people!

its just good youre alive... about the ointments, i dont really know anything

Thanks everyone. And yeah he is paying for everything. He has too. The guy who hit me was so drunk that he barley could walk or mumble a word. Now i can barley walk...lol. hurts so bad. The meds are helping and pot is making me sleep. It was the scariest thing that ever has happend to me.

damn that sucks....so glad you arent messed

i used an ointment quite a bit during my recovery...its not really an ointment...more of an oil...and you dont spread it on your bruises...you spread it on a rolling paper...ok...so i used your horrible accident to make a very lame drug reference..sorry

    its what i do

Sorry to hear that you were involved in an accident and that it was with someone who was drinking. It is unfortunate it happened and thankfully you walked away from it.

Time will help with the bruises and sore feeling. A little herb and Tylenol might help with that. I hope that the time passes quickly enough and you are on the mend in no time at all.

    Rest and get better. :)
