Winamp fans?!

I love Winamp so much.

Been using it for over a decade now. Auto-tag saves me so much trouble.

 

i used to like to tinker with the effects, to create your own. I havent in a while. media player with randomizations probable more than i ever use.

 

I used to use winamp when i was younger and i recently decided to use it again.

 

I've only ever used it for one thing... converting midi files to wav files. Very useful for that.

I used to love it back in the day, now I have a Mac and I have to relearn a lot of stuff.

 

when long ago i dumped win for linux i missed bad winamp, then i found that XMMS was
largely a carbon copy of the much loved old player :love:. I am still using Xmms at the present day. i believe there is a MacOS version build around. i just found this http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/XMMS2.shtml

 

I love Winamp. Been using it for years and laugh at people who used windows media player:beatnik:

As a video player it has been surpassed by VLC though.

 

I never liked Winamp as a video player

I use a mix of VLC and Windows Media.

 

I didn't think of myself as a fan but I exclusively play my mp3's in winamp and have been for at least a decade

 

I used to use Winamp. I forgot to install when I got my present PC, and found I didn't miss it. VLC has taken over most of the media playing now, with the exception of 'Album Player' which is a 'jukebox' software, and when used with my touch-screen is just awesome.

 

I didn't even know Winamp still existed! lol

 

I love the new revamped looks of winamp and I still use it today even though I know there are better programs out there.

 

My youngest son shuffled me something when I upgraded my OS, called "foobar2000". It's open source, from "SourceForge" , I think. Anyway, I'm missing Winamp. Srsly.

 

The wife has to have it installed. If any other app gets associated with music files she'll flip the fuck out on me.

VLC for the Porn and movies.

 

WinAmp was the shiiiiiit! I'm a Mac user now though, since I've started graphic design stuff

If I was a PC user, I'd want to use it again. I know my cousins who first introduced me to winamp (and napster) back when I was like 10 still use it on their PCs

I have wmp9 and i think its the BEST of the WMP series....


I hear the last good version of Winamp is v2.91

Used it ages ago, it was great, but now i stick to my itune mods and such.
