Occupy Wall Street Wedding: Couple Marries In Zuccotti Park Emery Abdel-Latif, 24, and Micha Balon, 19, met when both were searching for a place to pray in New York's Zuccotti Park. After meeting less than six weeks ago, the Muslim couple tied the knot on Sunday at the demonstration site. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/...din_n_1093510.html#s473132&title=The_Ceremony
I wonder if they got a honeymoon tent. Instead of traditional rice did attendees throw rubber bullets and tear gas?
I hope it works out for them. getting married after knowing someone for only a few weeks seems pretty crazy though
Maybe it's a case of Quality vs Quantity. They have spent some intensely meaningful, soul-exposing time together.
We'll see about that. there is a lot more to a person than what you could possibly learn in a month. Even if it was soul-exposing. I always say you don't really know a person until you see them through all seasons. This is truth.
I wish them well. Their conviction, determination, beliefs, and goals have been exposed and tested out there and it's bonded them. That's far more than some couples ever get around to facing and agreeing upon.
How do we know they are pure-hearted bastions of truth and human freedom who found true love? Really they could just both be trying to be in the "in" crowd with their friends and then went and got married after knowing each other for a few weeks on top of it Really could just be two clueless people lol. If not I wish them the best of luck, it's very romantic anyhow, I never would have thought of it
