I am in the beginning stages of a project. I am planning on writing a series of children's books. They will be educational. I want to incorporate lessons in the stories about nature and environmentally friendly ideas the child can do to help the planet! I already have a lot of ideas to work with. I thought it wouldnt hurt to begin looking for someone I hopefully will work closely with on this project. That way we can shape the book together. I am looking for an illustrator who can produce warm and vibrant pictures, primarily of animals and plants. Any information appreciated!
I can't be much help on the illustrating part but as a mother of 2, I just wanted to say what a great idea you have. I would buy the books!
i love the idea of your project. mostly i do places, alternative arcitecture, and transportation. i'm afraid warm and vibrant animals and plants are a little beyone me, my tools or my skills, but hava look if want at http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/j/t/jteall1/jteall1.html or http://www.freewebs.com/lananara =^^= .../\...
I love doing animals, and vibrant certainly desribes my art. If you want me to send you some examples, let me know.
Heya my art is abstract but vibrant. Some of it is a little dark but it depends on my mood. i draw and paint a lot of fantasy but i can do animals too. it depends on weather you want cartoony or naturalistic or abstract images. my site is here if you're interested. http://fleassy.theice.com/gallery
