Ingrown hair follicles can become infected too. So seeing a doc and maybe getting some anti biotics may help.

    Hi, Stacy.
Do you have a Megaplex or an adult toy store, in your area? There is a product called Coochy Cream, that I use to use on a regular basis. I would shave, get out of the shower apply the cream all over the area that you shaved and then the next day use a product called: Coochy After Shave Protection Mist; between the two products it works pretty well for me. I hope this helps.

I know what your going through... My skin is so sensitive that I look like i got some kind of disease when I shave lol! Its not pretty, and it really irritates. And makes you really self conscious...

So now I use an epilator and its brilliant! First few times, I will admit... it hurts. So maybe... If you wax first, then use the epilator regularly. If you do get one though... I advise you spend a little more money for a good one. Coz the cheapy ones dont seem to work.

Trust me.... You will be really pleased with the result! And its cheaper than waxing in the long run.

And also, you should get yourself exfoliating gloves. They help to prevent ingrowing hairs
