CALLOUT REVOLUTION 2005 RADIO ACTION - CENTRAL LONDON Show up 6pm, top of Carnaby Street, Thursday 16th December, dressed up (if you can) as 'people of our diverse society' (i.e. the granny, the suit, the clown, the security guard, the anarchist if you like) and armed with a radio [we can provide flyers, stickers etc although you can of course bring your own relevant info to distribute]. It seems that one of the things we need to do is further try to open the minds of the general public. We need to 'plant the seed' of the idea that a revolution could, will, and must, happen. Imagine the scene; Christmas shoppers frantically flapping around Oxford Street to get those presents. They're pissed off. Then they find themselves caught in an audio experience. Everywhere they walk they hear the revolutionary vibes and slogans being transmitted through the sea of radios suggesting that positive change is coming but that youy have to start by yourself. If you don't have a radio, and/or rechargeable batteries - ask your friends & family, and if that fails - get in touch with us - we'll sort you out somehow. Also, if you personally cannot make it, but have spare radios and/or rechargeable batteries - please do get in touch - drop them at the Rampart. If you would like to contribute to the content of the radio set, again, come down the Rampart. record some soundbits and thoughts, make some slogans for the stickers, come up with some costumes. It's gonna be fun.
