The only bitch about getting this is after you pay your bill's you dont have the money to go anywhere. It ties you down to your apartment for life. Maybe thats why i feel so wound up at times, maybe it's because i dont get out at all and just stay here in this 12 by 12 room. Of course i dont have my car up here at my parents it's in my aunts poll barn, I wont even start it until spring. I just set here in this apartment while my olds 98 just sits and collects dust.Im not complaining, it's just a thought.:D

"Im [sic] not complaining, it's just a though." Sorry, dude, but I don't follow any piece of this thought. You are inside a 12x12 room and then you make mention of a car. What's the thread? Are you upset that your disability payment doesn't exceed your financial needs? Is there anything that you are able to do within the realm of your ability to supplement your income legally?

What are you asking and what do you want?

I know someone with SSI who lives in his car. If you are not allowed to be 'homeless' on SSI, find an address to fake it and hit the road. Sheeet! I dont feel sorry for you in the least. I am a Canadian in America and I have to hustle for every dollar I earn. I'm fucked up too, cant handle a straight job, have seizures all the time, shit, I want a free ride too. Give me a monthly check and you wont hear me crying.

I'm from California and we are considered granola (nuts) in Washington state and deviants in Lone Star country.

Most of the under 62 folks whom I know on SSI or SSDI are collecting because of their HIV disability. Some, however, are still somewhat able-bodied and are allowed to earn a certain amount of money. Living in a car definitely sux (unless it happens to be parked in San Diego).

I remember drawing a paycheck and not feeling as if it were going far enough. Good luck in finding a solution to the problems that are befalling you.

I tell you crystalstarr, it is very hard. You can apply for it at the social security administration. Find an office for your area. I tell you though they are slashing the hell out of everything. Its hard for new ones to get it, but dont give up trying, and if they deny you apeal it right away dont wait. I get mine because i fall under the zebley act. Normally to get this you have to be blind, disabled or have some other handi cap. You wont know until you apply if you qualify. Like i say though dont give up trying to get it. Alot of the time i have heard they will turn you down the first time thinking you will go away and give up. If you qualify dont let that happen, dont give up. Good luck.

You know what is really sad, around here there are no jobs. Jobs are so scarce, my sister has a high school diploma and some college and she cant even find a job and im not complaining, it just makes me feel bad for these people who have familys to feed. Its unreal how bad things are for people but oh well i will survive I just keep my chin up and hope for a better day.;)

I would think you have a good case. i have bipolar disorder and when i was working i would get to worked up over the smallest things. My mind also does 90 mile an hour alot. Its like i cant slow down and concentrate. I tryed hard but they always would say i was to slow or my production would swing to much. Because of my bipolar disorder, my mind racing uncontrolably, and a certain amount of learning disabilities, could never comprehend hardly what they were trying to teach me to do alot of the times. I mean it would come down to the point of them letting me go. Im lucky to have what i have but you know something tomorrow could happen and it could all be taken away.;)

yeah, being bored will make you freaking nuts, even without a disorder. if i don't force myself to do something, it'll take wild horses and copious drugs to get me out the front door. do something, it's imperative.
