why do we come to discuss on the internet forums?

why are we coming here on the forums to discuss?personaly it is because sometimes i have nobody interested by the topics i want to talk about,also i am interested in getting in touch with new people, and i am learning a lot of things..for example this evening i am the only one awoke at home and i feel to socialize.. i am glad to find this internet forum full of messages from people sharing a little bit my ideas , it is very interesting, watching a movie is a passive occupation while going to a social forum is an active one..and you, why do you come to the forums?

 

Cuz the chicks are hott,,

 

Boredom. Plus it's interesting.

Well said Glen. And to chat about interesting topics that you wouldn't normally discuss with some of the boring people I know!!

 

The same is true for me. Also, when you are quite open and honest with people who know you and see you every day or every week, you risk being treated poorly if they strongly disagree. I find it much safer to say exactly what I think online.

By the way, I just love the way that you put your sentences together! It's like Jamaican music.

 

The reason. knowledge is, being shared.

 

It feels like I am exercising my brain a little.
I like the fact I can read what other people think because everybody has a different view.
It also helps me to realize that I'm not having an open mind about a certain subject.
And the forum enlightens me to things I never would have thought about myself.

 

Perhaps it is because those who are near are "Just not on our wavelength"

This is a free speech site so naturally I come to post opinions of mine on certain subjects. Sometimes I post bullshit. But I figured it this way, people who come here post things pertaining to the motto Free Speech Site so coming here is like keeping a huge file cabinet of your thoughts and opinions. It satisfies my head.
