Hola! I'm a full-time student studying Spanish and I need people to converse with online to improve my spelling, verb usage, and grammar in Spanish. It's my goal to become bilingual so that I can connect with more people in my community. I can help with anyone trying to learn or improve their English too! Thanks, Marie
no se.. si puedes encontrar algo, dinos. Yo puedo hablar más o menos, y entiendo todo. Pero, mí gramatica es horrible, y quiero practicar escribiendo más.
Speaking in person is the only way to go, ive had years of classes, lived in a few other countries and am currently a translator/interpreter, it truly is a road that never ends. I think an intercambio would be your best bet, try meeting people with unfamiliar accents and reading academic texts at your L1 level(that's your native language) so if you're a psychologist you should be able to read at that level in Spanish. My problem is the accent, I come across too many and never know till I meet the person, definitely different than travelling and knowing almost everyone there speaks similarly(slang and regional differences). I'm still baffled that one day Spanish can be clear, intuitive and simple and them the next day everythings all muddy and incomprehensible! Goodluck and do you have any favorite accents/dialects? I've enjoyed mexican(clearer chilango/neutro or the more unique ones like yucateco/Jalisco/Guerrero, also Cuba and some from Spain, rioplatense(Argentina) is hard and confusing but can be mezmerizing. Cuidate y saludo guay
yeah, I´m doing that right now. But I get little to no writing practice. I think a forum site is actually a pretty good idea. (though it´s obviously not going to make you speak fluent spanish, it would be more to improve and practice)
How hard was it to find your translator job? i'm majoring in Spanish in college and I really want to be a translator but i have no idea if there are many jobs for it?
I would very much like to know this as well. I´ve been told (from unreliable sorces) that only knowing spanish will get you almost nowhere in America, because so many people know spanish and english. (what with all the mexicans) it was from an unreliable sorce, but it makes sense. I´m planing on learning german as well, and maybe another language.
Tambien, yo necesito practicarlo. Quiero hablar fluentamente, pero no practico mucho. Voy a la escuela secundaria en Nebraska y me graduaré en mayo.
Yo me sumo a un intercambio español-inglés/inglés-español. Por favor déjeme un mensaje y coordinamos. Gracias!
