I went on a date with this girl about a week ago now and I think we got along really well. We have so much in common so it was easy to talk and make each other laugh, the odd flirty comment etc and ended the night with a hug. We're the type of people who dont really think we have to talk to each other everyday as we have both had experiences where our ex's were really clingy. But we have had good chats every now and then to get to know each other a bit more and its been great. We were supposed to meet up again but she had to cancel because she injured herself. Now we rarely even talk to each other both online or text and I'm really confused if shes even interested in meeting up or if she even likes me. I could be jumping to conclusions but there is a part of me that thinks that she isnt really that bothered, not quite sure why and I dont want to be the one who always has to ask if she wants to hang out.
Hmmmm ... I think if she says she injured herself, it's probably because she injured herself. I'd txt back something like "OMG! I hope you're not badly hurt! What have you done? And is there anything I could do to help?" You'll soon find out whether it's a broken leg ... or a broken fingernail :mickey:
Lol Im not doubting she injured herself! I did jokingly text her to see if she was alive and shes doing ok now. I text her today if she was free and she said she might be and told her to get here asap, in a joking kinda way, cuz we share the same humor. But the problem was that after an hour or so I didnt get a reply saying yes or no so I text her back asking if she was still up for it, and still nothing a few hours later. So I just got fed up at that point because Id rather her tell me to get lost or not interested rather than keep me waiting and holding up my time for a reply. It was one of those you have time to be on facebook but cant reply my text situations...hopefully that didnt come across as desperate but I was just annoyed at that point.
You have every right to be fed up. Idk it sounds like she's playing games with you. I'd move on if nothing seems to be happening between you two if I were you.
Yeah, maybe she just doesn't want to hurt your feelings. Gutless if you ask me. I'd leave it up to her. But i agree theres nothing more frustrating if your into someone and they just keep you hanging. The old "treat 'em mean keep 'em keen" doesn't work for me.
I would of been annoyed also, especially if we both had a good time. I think it's because ya'll belief on the whole clingy situation. I don't think it's clingy to at least say hi, once everyday or once every 2 days....if she hasn't answer you until now, you should move on .
