There's this guy in two of my classes, and he's super awesome. And he's talked to me a few times, but not as much I would like haha. Anyway we're talking after math class today and he said he need a tutor and he would ask his friend but his friend would just write him off...and I mean I'm pretty good with math and I need community service hours....so should I facebook him tonight when hes on and tell him I'll help him out if he signs my papers?

Was he hinting at that? Because I feel like I always miss hints....

Would it be weird to offer? Because people always say that guys don't like girls that are smarter than them...

    thanks a bunch!

    what people?

i see no reason not to offer. even if nothing comes of it relationship-wise, you need your community service one way or another, and teaching school's simplest subject seems like an easy way to get it.

I agree that you should go for it. It's a win win situation - a relationship does spark up and that'd be amazing, but if it doesn't you still succeed at getting your papers signed! Unless he says no to both...but who in their right mind would turn down free tutoring from someone who knows their stuff?!

I'm with the tourist on this one.

Go for it hun - what's to lose??

I suspect he's been dropping hints like this to everyone he thinks might be able to help him with the math in the hope that somebody picks up on them - so don't get all distressed if you find that he's made teh same remark to others too.

Just remember that he's probably genuine about all this, and his primary aim is to get his math sorted NOT to get into a relationship. But if a relationship comes out of it ... well ... that's a bonus.

    Hugs,

    Becky

Thanks guys! :) I'm going do it! I just didn't want to seem...arrogant by offering help. Because I'm not...at I least I hope I'm not....

My friends always say that a guy doesn't want a girl thats better than him in anything...they're dumb asses I know lol. But sometimes you can't help but listen.
