I've been clean almost a year now, but I'm going to cambodia in a month or two. I hear opiates are very cheap and high quality there. Anyone have any experience with southeast asia/cambodia/vietnam and opiates? how risky is it? How worth/not worth it is it?
I know nothing of the matter, but I would imagine a jail anywhere in southeast asia would be horrendous.
yeah I've been sober for a long time now, as well. I'm mostly going to the country to visit various temples and stuff and go to beaches during the winter, but the idea of the real deal heroin is just killing me

Yeah dude, the once in a lifetime opportunity here is that you're going to Cambodia. Deciding to cop some ultra pure heroin there when you know you have a history of opiate addiction seems, well, retarded. Jail, death, and addiction are all likely streams the future may take you if you go that route.
I always thought Southeast Asia was the holy grail of places to go for drugs, but their laws are quite strict and their jails are terrible. However, from what I hear you could still probably score some high quality dope around the bars, and the pharmacies most like like sell benzos, barbs, and weak opiates (eg. codeine, hydrocodone, dihydrocodeine). I know from experience, all those are available, and blatantly advertised, in the pharmacies in Central America.
