Hi, I', a 30-ish year old female, just moved back to Philadelphia, kicking and screaming, from Scotland. I've been lurking the forums for awhile, thought it was about time I said hello.

    Ooooh - whereabouts in Scotland?

    I just LOVE the Highlands.

Especially one the one day in the decade when it's not raining and there are no midges ...

Ooh I spent the summer in Blair Atholl, absolutely loved it, no wonder you went kicking and screaming. I don't think I've never had a better experience then some of those nature hikes in those highlands.

Blair's a lovely place. The great rivers coming crashing down off the mountains; the mountains beyond; the glens; and good road and rail links if (for some strange reason) you decide you'd rather be somewhere else.

I'm sure you must have had a wonderful summer :daisy:

I was up in Northern part of the country. Aberdeen, City of Granite. Where everything is gray. I really do miss it though, the US is just too big and generic, topped off filled with people who share some really absurd beliefs.

Thanks for just getting around to telling me that now. Would have been much more valuable a few months ago. Can I please crash on your couch while I reestablish myself? :)
