dark sugar. Check it out. It's a place to share streaming music files. People use it to make contacts, share their music, etc... Cool thing is people can leave notes on music files so you can get feedback on what people think of your music. There are other site like it though.
I am on Soundcloud, but not much. I found Alonetone more to my liking. I get more listens and comments there and consequently have about 70 tracks up there for listen and/or free download. http://alonetone.com/fsoundlab No reason you cant have stuff on both, of course. .
My HD died and i lost everything I was working on. luckily saved all my samples and VSTs and whatnot. Reinstalled everything this weekend and came up with a snippet of what im working on: www.soundcloud.com/coyotl
I'm periodically updating my soundcloud page because I'm always creating new music. A little bit of everything, each in it's own originality. My latest track is an electronic / orchestral piece. Please check it out and share if you enjoy http://soundcloud.com/quicknessmusic
http://soundcloud.com/preskrybed_vybez/pushin-daisies-presidential-sh I started some electronic production on ableton 6 months ago
Don't have one yet but it's probably a good idea that i do not that im getting into a band and starting up my mashup stuff again. Hopefully we can post it in here.
I've been RUNNING it with Ableton 8.2.2 from piratebay. No glitches yet, but I have heard similar complaints from others. Maybe you need more RAM or to convert all of your clips from midi to audio. As for what you were saying about hackers openung up the programs for NOOBS, I agree fully. I am still one currently, but I will be buying the software soon ($800) OUCH
hey all, check out my soundcloud and message me if you like. here's a song I made last night, might take it down and set aside time to mix it but I like it so far. http://soundcloud.com/ghost-array/give-love
First let me say the beat is ace. you went with the future garage/2stepppy skippy rhythm and I am loving every second of it.:2thumbsup: very good quality samples. They could be tightened up a just bit, and the more higher frequency percussive sounds brightened up but its gold. Chords and pads could use some cleaning up with EQ..I like the ambient bells and melodic concept that it starts off however it needs to go somewhere and not just loop out. After that break right at about 2:32 you need to provide a change, it just goes right back into the same loop. I would scrap the area after the breakdown there around two and a half minutes and take some time to place a really refreshing change to the music here.Maybe add in different percussion, with some sub-bass or other synths to fill out the bottom end frequencies and make it "full". You did a good job of building the anticipation with the breakdown so the next thing would be to add in a surprise for the listener and be creative. Don't box yourself into a corner with the same loop, switch it up a bit. I want to tell you that there is great potential in this track. I like the concept a lot.
