Does anyone ever mess around with shadows while with Lucy? My friends and I discovered how amazing and scary (in a good way) they are whilst tripping. They were sitting across the room and I made my hand shadow into 'glove' from Yellow Submarine. They instantly got up and tried to run away thinking it was gonna get them. Also putting a pattern of some sort over a lamp and slowly moving it down is awesome. Makes it feel like the shadow is about to capture you.
I never messed with shadows like that, but I once just dimmed the lights, and watch as shadows of objects transformed into there own form, it was as if shadows were no longer connected to materials.I'll totally try that out tho!
I had a very similar experience with shadows and Floyd. I was on a screened porch at a friends house with a dim light on; also with moonlight. And all the shadows around me just kept slowly crawling to me in perfect harmony with Floyd until finally I was enveloped for a few short seconds. At this point I realized I was peaking hard (1 drop), not having tripped in 5 months previously.
Never really played with shadows, but have definitely noticed them! A worthy show in my opinion, but I've only really been dazzled by them on shrooms. I remember going for a walk, and we ended up going through town. Damn! Lamp post shadows are trippy when you walk under them, especially when there are other light sources coming from different places that make the same object have about 4 or 5 shadows that are all shimmering and warping. It's good shit. You do of course look like a complete idiot when you're pointing and gasping at a few shadows on the road...
