I wouldn't know how to completely anymore.. i know the rules have changed and cards have changed over the decade and a half since i played.. 2 cooks at work play.. I cannot invest that kind of money into games anymore
I know lots of people who play it but even I have been into epic fantasy for years I never got into this game myself. I do have a game called Machiavelli that also works with cards but nobody wants to play anymore... Anybody knows that one?
wow i haven't played that game in forever......but i do remember buying starter decks and packs looking for those hard to find end all be all cards lol......i don't even remember the first step in playing a game now hahaha....i still have a few cards and even the dark blue and light blue mana pebbles lol.....good times, good times.
I was heavily into MTG 3 or 4 years ago. spent hundreds off dollars on cards! we would play all night drinking and shit. we started calling it cardboard crack towards the end there! i saved all of my cards though and this thread has me wanting to play.
yeah when I was into Magic I was buying cases of card packs at a time.. spending anywhere from $60-120 per case
I was never much into Magic. Jyhad and Rage, little Over The Edge but not Magic. We went to Gencon in 99 and one buddy took his box of Magic with him. Before the convention even started, he had made 2k from selling his cards. I also remember back in the day, our local gaming shop got robbed. Only thing they stole was the Black Lotus card on display.
I'm all for magic. its a huge waste of money, but i love the strategy to it im not as surprised as i ought to be
