Hi there, My name is Lexi, I'm 26 and from Australia. I am travelling in America for 6 months. I'm currently staying with a friend 3 hours north of San Fransisco. I am buying myself a vehicle this week and plan to drive across the country towards New York and then South to Atlanta before Christmas. I have a couple of places I wish to see, but what I am really looking for is a unique adventure and the ability to stop and see whatever tempts the senses along the way. I am hoping to find someone out there who has a gypsy spirit like me who wants to just DRIVE and see what comes of such an adventure. We'd have to be comfortable with one another, trust one another and be happy to just go with the flow. I am planning to leave sometime next week around the 24th October. The vehicle I am looking to buy will just be a sedan, nothing too fancy, but hopefully fully reliable. I am a smoker (ciggarettes) and will be happily smoking and stopping for coffees along the drive. I am a very easy going personality. I will be seeking out cheap accommodation, cabins, back packing hostels along the way. I would preferrably prefer a female/s travel companion, but I'm not prejudice to anyone! I would really love someone who is comfortable with driving over here in America, so we can share some of the driving! We'd be sharing gas along the way, but I'm buying a car that is really economical. I also plan to get navigation and roadside assitance. If you are interested please send me a message and give me a little information about yourself and your plans, Look forward to hearing from someone!!!!! Kind Regards, Lexi
hello lexi! you might want to check the craigslist rideshare board and look for a traveling companion there rather than buying a car and then finding a traveling companion, you might want to try to find someone who already has a car I recommend taking the time to find the right traveling companion, as I think that can make all the difference as far as cheap places to stay go, you might want to check into couchsurfing.com hope that everything works out!
