My friend has been with her girlfriend, who is also my really good friend, for several years now. She tells me literally everyday that she is not happy with her girlfriend. Her girlfriend beats her up, uses her for her money, uses her for her house, uses her for her car, etc. My friend says that the reason why she won't leave her is because she's afraid of being alone and even if she did break it off her girlfriend wouldn't leave. It's becoming stressful on my friendship with both of them because I am often the middleman. What do I do? How do I tell my friend to just suck it up and leave her girlfriend? I've tried sitting down with her and telling her but it seems like it goes in one ear and out the other. Any tips?
