like if something (lets say, a relationship or marriage or something) is meant to happen, it WILL? if not what do you believe?
I use lots of fatalistic language when I'm trying to romance a broad. But of course there is no fate. We're all just apes trying to make sense of our lives. The things outside our control we like to assign some sort of plan to because it's kinda comforting, but there is no plan. Friendly, happy, well adjusted people are more likely to find longer lasting fulfilling relationships.
im not entirely sure if i believe in fate. but i do know if the right person happens to fall into your lap, it doesnt mean shits going to be a breeze. anything worth having is worth working for
yes..i do believe in fate...but fate can be influenced by so many other variables that I consider it only a fraction of whole puzzle.
no. i believe that if someone means for something to happen, and they do what is required to make that thing happen, then it probably will happen.
I Have Always Believed If Something Is Meant To Happen, It Will.... Yes, There Are Times You Have To Force An Issue To Make It Happen, But Some Of The Sadest People I Have Known, Have Pushed And Pushed Until Everything Blew Up In Their Face, Whereby Had They Quietly Sat Back, Took A Long Deep Breath, Things Would Have Most Certainly Turned Out For The Better. I Am Going Through This Very Thing At The Moment, Having Decided To Sell The Family Farm, I Am Sitting Back And Waiting, If Such A Massive Change In My Life Is Meant To Happen, Then It Will, If Not, I Stay Where I Am.... Cheers Glen.
No, most things are random; like riding out a storm waiting for the sun to shine Even taking control of things is limited but sometimes effective.
As in carved in a tabletop by Sahah Connor. NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE> This is theater.. this is life. I boaz agree. No Fate but what we make. Determinism is a sham. It applies only as a law in gross newtonian mechanical systems. sic The future is determined by the actions of the people who live it. Boaz
^^^Iode and joachimboaz summed it up good and proper^^^ there are forces at work bigger and bolder than we can imagine, but they don't give two fucks about us> talking about the gravitic bonds that hold our world in some insane limbo-spinning-rotation around a similarly-spinning nuclear furnace of unimaginable heat> repeated millions of times over for every planet in existance. we are apes. and apes are bacteria for this world. the most significant thing we have accomplished as a whole is to evolve from bacteria to cancer upon our place of establishment. when you think of this and the true siginficance that each one of us hold in our universe considering there are how many billion of us in this world at this one moment, let alone all who have lived and died, how can you fate-believers still believe? oxi
Quote there are how many billion of us in this world at this one moment, let alone all who have lived and died 20 billions for what peace love or hope. The children yes.. still well said
I believe everything happens the way it is supposed to, but not necessarily as a result of fate. Fate is too broad and generalized of a concept to just attribute everything that happens to it.
Fate is for many certainty - a begining to an end, though like the journey from departure to arrival, there are several pathways in which to travel. One must hold true with faith, that fate is not writen in stone, the tablet may be writen, though the text is subjective. In the case of relationships however, when a more practical approach may be deemed to be required, one must look inside the soul and the hearts call may not be the heads reasoning.
Where would bad romantic comedies (redundant phrasing) be without a sense of fate so the main characters can justify their action/inaction? So yeah, I'm a big believer.
fate is a simple word for the complex of reality that is beyond any one individual's direct influence.
