Hi! Im about to go spend about 6 months in mexico and Id like to volunteer my time in an agricultural setting. If anyone can provide me with info or links to good volunteer abroad organizations it would be really appreciated
Hi there! Have you heard of Wwoof? It basically links volunteers with organic farms, where they do a certain number of hours per week in exchange for food and board. I've ''Wwoofed'' in quite a few countries around the world...its a really cool way to meet locals, learn about sustainable farming...and not spend any money! Most countries around the world have their own organisations, and theres usually a fee to join, whereupon they give you a list of farms and contact details.
