I don't see this as a real protest. All sorts of big name celebrities are involved, and it's clearly well-funded and orchestrated. These people are protesting Wall Street, in particular capitalism, when they should be protesting the root of the evil, which is the monetary system itself headed by the Federal Reserve, or, more specifically, the people behind that insidious entity. I think liberals are the biggest dupes (this isn't to say I think conservatives are any better). They think they're going against the system, when they're really falling into its trap. They don't understand real issues and know only the talking points the media gives them. I think this has gotten a fair amount of coverage. More so than some other protests. However, it's the job of some media outlets to cover it and others to ignore it (or give it positive or negative press). This fuels the ever polarizing Hegelian dialectic the system relies upon to keep people confused, polarized and not seeing the big picture.

That's not an argument. I don't know why people always use that one, when obviously, neither side has proof. I also don't know why people are attacked by "hippes" whenever they want to do something real instead of just throw another parade.

Its getting a lot of attention. People in my state are currently downtown for occupy _____ , I think its a good signal to start waking people up, but as for now its just a peaceful protest for people who think they know what they're talking about. Although there are some individuals participating who are enlightened.
