orange worm attacking buds

    some of my outdoor plants are being afflicted by a small orange worm that burrows into the bud and destroys it (turns brown). can anyone tell me what the bug is and how i can safely get rid of it? thanks

    Ima guess, your aphids were tasty to another species coming to feed on them.. Aphidoletes aphidimyza..
