hey everyone, so ive been looking around the web a lot to see that there are A LOT of people sharing about their dreads. Soo, my question to you guys.. about what point did your dreads start to show maturity? How many dreads do you have, and do you prefer for them to congo or do you want them to split (if thats even possible...) AND last but not least... i only have like 19 dreads, is that really un-common or something? i see all my friends have like 25-30++ LOVE N LIGHT~
Congos are cool. Bigger the better. If you only have 19 it means they're fatter. This means you're cooler. Locks do not split, or if they do it would be a pain in the ass and get caught on things, and hurt like a motherfucker. Maturity is not a single stage, but a gradient. They start to show it when they start to be locks, and never stop showing more.
I like when mine congo, but I also like how many I have - like 68 now Lots of people have differet numbers, just depends on how fat they are and how much hair you had in the first place.
not sure really when mine became "real" id say at a guess around 18 months i was happy with them, i have twenty something, there pretty fat though so not that many, its not uncommon to have so few
mine became real when i had the lady at the salon put extensions in. also, congos are for poor people. they are gross.
