Yesterday my friend gave me this little canister of "Wicked Clown" spice. It gives me a great buzz and everything but it also sketches me out because I don't know what the hell is in it. I've heard crazy stories about people going to the hospital after smoking spice and whatnot... but i've never had a bad experience with it. I would feel a lot safer if i had some weed to smoke, but I'm broke. haha. I'm sitting here contemplating whether I should smoke this spice or not. What do you guys think? I don't know what to believe because I've heard so many different stories about it.

It's not safe, mostly because, as you said, you don't really know what is in it, where it was made, and by whom. A lot of these JWH compounds are shipped in from China, so they're probably not made under the best of conditions. You don't know what sort of contaminants are in it, or how much of the JWH was sprayed on to the herbal mixture. It's very easy to smoke too much, and there is too little known about these compounds to say what kind of harm they might be doing.

The thing that seems to be most alarming with this stuff is the rapid heart rate many people experience after smoking. Keep in mind that most of these compounds are full receptor antagonists as opposed to the partial receptor antagonist that cannabis is. This alone is dangerous.

I would steer clear of the stuff and stick to the real thing.

I have smoked a product called 'Spike Gold' and had a very bad experience from it. And I have smoked regular cannabis for the past 15 years.

He's pretty much right, but it really depends how much you use them IMO. I think JWH compounds are nice when used very rarely for a really intense high when desired. I usually only smoke JWH when I'm coming down from something cause its more intense and helps a lot and I can just take 1 bong hit and I'm good. But yeah you have to be careful because even one bong hit can be too much if you take a really fat one and hold it in.

Its better to just stick to pot, but if you build up a super high tolerance to pot JWH is nice for a rare occasion because you won't have a tolerance to it. Once you start regularly using JWH though your fucked cause your tolerance goes up to that super fast and it is gonna be worse for you than pot. Best thing imo is to just use pot but use it rarely so that you dont have a tolerance to that and you can just use a little to get the desired effects for a long time with a small amount. Unless you wanna just smoke all the time every day but that's what I had been doing up until recently and it sucks cause you get fatigued and tired, and you don't remember your dreams. I've had so many crazy ass dreams lately cause I recently reduced my THC intake. Very vivid and eccentric dreams. I enjoy that.

Curious... as my company used to make several brands of incense. One went thru several evolutions of names. Started as Wicked (Blue, Sliver, and Gold) with reaper pics. Then after the federal ban... the formula was changed... and we changed the reaper to a really wicked looking clown... and just called it Gold.

If this is the brand you bought... I can tell you exactly what was in it.

    I don't recommend it either.

But when you live in a gestapo state and use medical MJ, the safest legal option is the synthetics.

There is 5000 years of history behind the long term effects of cannabis. While Mr. JWH himself says there SHOULD be no real difference in side effects... there is NO research and very little history on the synthetics.

I've tried it a couple of times and with both of those I've had a nasty fucking headache. Nasty shit, rather get some nice, tasty, headache-free bud.

    Doubt is the key word.

I know from experience that they DO work. Of course buying a pre-made "incense" is a crap shoot. However, those who took the time to find a quality source... and test a good many of the options... could eventually find a combination that works.

018 combined with 073 worked wonders for several I know. While cannabis was still prefered... its better than going to JAIL.

that looks sick. so does that shit actually get people high? I don't go that route, but nothing should have a crazed clown on the package unless it gets you high

I smoked this stuff called damiana leaf once and I am curious about it. I looked it up online and it said it makes you relaxed and works as a mild aphrodisiac. the package said it was 100 percent damiana leaf, but it must have had something else in it because it got me really high.

Honestly, damiana by itself would not have any noticeable effect for most people.

Don't waste your money on that herb unless your going to put something on it. But it makes a great substrate for the synthetics.

The original formula for Wicked Gold, as we called it, was JWH-018, JWH-073, and JWH-250.

It was formulated to be like a nice sativa. Uplifting... but not TOO speedy.
