Hello, I was wondering if anybody could shine some light on cipralex and LSD. I take 5 mg of cipralex which is an ssri I believe. I wanted to drop with my bf next weekend and was wondering if I should stop taking the meds for a week before to get the full visuals because I wouldn't want to waste some good acid haha. Thanks guys! Ps: I have tried prozac and LSD before just had no visuals which sucked
A lot of times people don't have visuals from 1-2 hits of acid. So know that. Just like I told the other person with a similar thread, the half life of excitalopram is 27-32 hours. If you take it normally/daily then its prob slightly longer. 32-39 hours. Also, since you are on a daily dose, your receptors are down regulated which can take a week to come back to normal or longer. So unfortunately it would take a little while. But so there is no competition over the receptors the best you can do is wait 2 days off your meds, then take the acid.
