.. I decided to make an account and introduce myself,
and share my comparison that I made.

My name is Andreas, I'm 25 years old and I live in the cold Scandinavia, where this kind of hair is pretty perfect during winter I would say.

I though that maybe it could give some hope to people with newly-made
dreads, cus I think mine really didn't look that good at all in the beginning but they are turning out quite okey I would say :)
I've had them for about 3 years now, and her's the result after thoose years.

(sorry for the shitty camera, noone was around here atm to help me take a better picture so it'll have to do)

I started them with backcombing, and then started using a crochethook regularly after a few months.

Yeah, it happens, but only with loose hair in by the scalp.
I try not to though, but I can get a bit obsessive about it sometimes.

Niiiiice! :2thumbsup: them are gorgeous! I cant believe they grew that much! When did you notice the most growth? Mine are 16 months and are just now past the shrinking stage. They're only just past my shoulders :(

    Thanks!
I think the most growth after about a year, or atleast that's when I started to notice they were growing pretty fast.
I guess it was about the same time I really knew how to take care of them (wash, roll, crochet etc)
