I'm glad they ended it that way. The last five minutes were wrapping up waaaaay too nicely.

I smell season 8.. no way its over like that.. doesn't make sense to end it like that... i still think it should have just ended last season.. it wrapped up perfectly.. baby was taken care of... nancy got arrested finally.. and the rest of the family moved on and started over.. i have a feeling now its just gonna tumble season through season with a good episode here and there but fall short more often than not.. a lot like this season did

 

yeah.. now that I look back, it's probably not the end. (though i really hope it is)

what they'll probably do, is have the gunshot hit the shooter.

either that, or nancy's dead and they all react to that for a season.


I hope this was it... the end was very rushed, and you know they wrote it with the intent of having it work as a series finale, or a season finale, which is kind of disappointing if this is the end. They could've wrapped up much better. (and I agree, last season would have been a good ending, though I thought this season was alright)

but... It was a good enough ending. they went out on a high note, even if it wasn't perfect. I really hope there's no 8th season.

 

I think it's botched.. Shane now a member of the police academy will hunt down the shooter.. the relationship between Nancy and Andy will grow from him saving the family basically once again.. and from having to probably nurse her back.. Silas will start doing his growing...

The only reason I say it would be a botched murder.. if there is no Mary Louise Parker.. then there is no Weeds

 

Dint watch this season last episode, but I was sure season 6 finale was the end....should have been maybe...

I don't think any of you people would watch this show if it wasn't about weed. In fact, I don't see any reason to watch it except for that and tits.

 

Well of course i wouldn't watch it.. what would it be about then? A struggling mother's husband gets killed so she turns to Avon to make ends meet?

 

at this point, I just think andy's funny.

Yeah Weeds definitely has had its ups and downs... but the first two seasons were really good... then it went down hill... season 5/6 were great too.. season 7 overall was a bust.. think there were two episodes I cared for... the whole "nancy will fuck anything" tone this season had was really bad.. i knew they were digging deep when the opening scene was Nancy making out with her cellmate

 

yeah, the first two seasons are probably the reason i still watch it. I went back and rewatched them this summer.. i had forgot how great they were. When the show was still satire.. (and damn good satire)

...its gone waaay downhill since then. But its still ok, and there are a few likeable charactures that keep me watching.

 

Im going with the son of that one DEA agent she married..
