    I never liked Nirvana, even as a teenager in the mid-90s. I do remember buying Nevermind when it came out, because I really liked 'Come As You Are', which was getting lots of airplay at the time. I think I was only in 6th grade at the time. (Damn, this makes me sound old.)

    In interviews Kurt Cobain always seemed like an intelligent guy who knew a lot about music. He brought people's attention to early 80s bands like the Young Marble Giants and Wipers, which were very influential to Nirvana.
