You raise a great point. Intelligent people do not blame others for something like this. This is a very reputable economy new car, it is her decision. I wouldn't be interested if I suspected she was this way. I haven't pushed her in any way and I broke away from the "sales process" to be clean and fair with her, I have helped my friends buy cars before. I didn't write the warranty and it is her responsibility to be aware of the warranty rules. I think I painted the wrong picture of my boss and our workplace policy. My boss doesn't not encourage any employee unless the employee is very serious about what they are doing. There is nothing illegal whatsoever and he cares a great deal about our personal happiness. He is not telling us to run around drooling over customers. To be honest, this is a college job for me and so to chase a HIGHLY interesting girl seems worth the risk that I might get fired. I think I posted on here for a personal story or expecting something unrealistic. I guess I was just the usual shy about making a move on a mind blowing girl. I was looking for a confidence boost I guess...oh well. I respect the conservative people on this site and their views. I also understand that the USA is a country of extreme personal freedoms and liberties. If I lived in the US I think I would wait for a girl to make a move in fear she might sue me.
I don't see a problem with it at all. There are 2 ways you can go about this, one the creepy way that will usually scare off a female customer and potentially hot water which is what most guys do. Or just flat out casual 'hey i think we have some things in common we should get together some time, can i give you a call?'. The 2nd way will almost never cause any friction with either the customer or your employer.
