I’ve done a lot of research on psychedelic drugs, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to try psilocybin mushrooms. I was reading ‘Acid Trips and Chemistry’, and it was basically saying that, whatever your unconscious preconceptions on LSD were, that would determine what kind of trip you had… cause it would basically bring that out. Is that really true, and would that be the case with mushrooms as well… or any drug, for that matter? I’ve decided on mushrooms because I’ve read how it opens your mind and helps you to see things more clearly and as they really are, not how society portrays everything. My boyfriend told me he was a ‘Trip Doctor’ when he was in college, so I guess if I needed any help, I could go to him as well. I guess I’m looking for a change. Also, with the 2012 Global Shift In Consciousness right around the corner, it would be good to try to be on the right track. Also (changing the subject… kinda), I’ve been doggie-sitting the last few weeks, and when I took him out for his walk this morning, I noticed some mushrooms that I really haven’t seen too much around here before. I highly doubt they are ‘magic mushrooms’ and I’m not gonna risk trying to find out, but would anyone happen to know what they are?
Your preconceptions of a trip will NOT overpower the trip; it's the other way around. Your preconceptions will be blown away under the might of the real thing. Your description of what shrooms can do, peeling away the illusion etc, sounds more like LSD to me shrooms are a lot more abstract and spiritual, little to do with "society" and that kind of everyday stuff, that is far more LSD's domain.
That is not a magic mushroom. Magic mushroom's containing Psilocybe bruise blue. I dont believe Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms are found in Maine. There are some pan subbs but not cubes
