"I know patients who have epilepsy who when they use cannabis, they
    don't have epilepsy"

Epilepsy is a brain disorder in which a person has repeated seizures
(convulsions) over time. Seizures are episodes of disturbed brain
activity that cause changes in attention or behavior.

Similar to the freak outs in schizophrenia, loss of trust in
surroundings, unable to calmly express opinion, isolation and intense
alienation, fear, confusion, extreme stress and hallucinations,
leading to withdrawn or angry social contact and inability to fully
express convey perceptions because of lack of trust stemming from
hallucinations, from patterns and perceived omens. In extreme cases
has somehow led to hospitalization. I empathize deeply with the ideals
    of MLK Jr. and ahimsa.

When I use cannabis, this happens in a much less intense way, and much
easier to avoid conflicts with others, and question the
hallucinations, and trust the world, it seems like the world has more
    virtue, on cannabis

this is my main reason for using the herb, otherwise I can be
constantly on edge, battling things that others can't see, recognize,
or admit to seeing, when I am sure they are there this is even more
frustrating. These symptoms doctors have tried to treat using
antipsychotics, but I have allergic reactions to them because of my
irregular heartbeat, which causes a condition in me called NMS
Neuroleptic Malignant syndrome, which is extremely uncomfortable,
cauusing sweating headaches, naseau seizures and irreversible brain
    damage if it progresses.

I am dumbfounded by doctor's lack of compassion, and understanding, I
have used cannabis because it is the only way I have been able to
consistently find relief, when meditation and therapy techniques
don't work or can't be done, I have never encountered a problem with
psychosis while on cannabis, but if I haven't used it for long
periods, it becomes more and more likely. Sometimes I surprise myself
and go for a long time, but suddenly its back again, full as ever.

It is not an addiction, I can stop using it, though I enjoy the
feeling, most of all I enjoy the relief and the stability it gives me.

I am tired of being perscribed medications which are poisonous to me,
over the years I've been perscribed Abilify, Risperdal, Zyprexa,
Effexor and two other 'medicines' which I cannot remember the name of
for my Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective disorder. All of them have given
me intense discomfort, headaches, loss of appetite, I have been
physically unable to take them for more than 2 days, because of the
amount of discomfort I was in literally feeling poisoned. That is not
a normal reaction, my body chemistry is saying the anti psychotics are
not a good route, so why is this issue not being addressed? Doctors
say they are unsure whether it may cause psychosis, but I has not
caused psychosis in me, it helps me, the anti-psychotic synthetic
pills have caused more psychosis, and made me feel like doctors did
not have my best intentions in mind, and were only trying to poison me
for the sake of money while the effect I get from cannabis is organic
and feels natural to my mind, I am used to it, I don't over indulge
and find life much easier with its assistance, plus it has spiritual
    significance to me.

I just ask for a perscription so I can be in peace about this finally.
No one is even willing to try and listen to what I have found to be
true, my family sees the help that it gives me and they support my
medical use, but I wish doctors could see it that way, I imagine
others in similar situations, with so many different conditions, if
doctors could just be more open minded, the true healing could happen.
    More organic medicines, less synthetics!

I have also been using magnesium and lecithin for my symptoms, neither
of which doctors told me about, but I researched myself, which seem to
    offer some relief too.

"Cannabis has been found as a neuroprotective agent" - people with
schizophrenia benefit from neuroprotective agents, ironically many
perscription anti psychotic pills have been shown to amplify this
effect of brain deterioration in patients, this seems to go against
    the point.

Cannabis is shown to treat depresion and bi polar disorder, originally
I was diagnosed as bi-polar//manic, and I still feel this is true, but
its been eclipsed and mixed with the schizophrenia symptoms which make
    it more confusing

reducing fearful memories, because many of my delusions are to do
with fearful memories which seem to speak through everything around
me, i fear that those i live with are trying to manipulate me and
secretly against me, I feel literally alone and unable to communicate,
the medical cannabis provides some kind of link, at least the world is
providing this medicine for me, maybe there is some hope, i'm just
crazy after all, thats what i think, and it helps me to step back and
calm down, it also seems to calm the voices I hear down, and make them
ignorable, where they can sometimes be, irritating prominent and
unable to ignore, and even is in song lyrics, and changes the words
they say, unless I make noise which then disturbs others and makes me
seem crazy, which I am self conscious of.

there is true healing that comes from ness, that is unlike anything else in the world
but it goes so far from how I have been conditioned (though i have consciously worked to change this) to see true healing coming from ways like that
to us it may seem kind of crazy, unless we have very good intuition
it may appear ecstatically, out of context as well
medicinal cannabis has caused this to happen,
it happens, at this stage, in an ecstatic way
like vajrayana buddhism, not needed to be in a certain position
but you could tell they were linked
maybe this is like a metaphor for the plants effects in our bodies
all of the effects are the mind, they have resonance with that which our body natural produces in the right circumstances
maybe it is the same spirit that naturally produces these plants in the world
that produces them in us, an egoless spirit, boundless, a spirit that permeates all things
the highest reality, so they are fruits of the highest reality, both within and without
as they appear within and without, we can see how manifest that reality has become
and we can help it to manifest more fully, by removing blockages in ourselves, and around us, we awaken the reality of InI, beyond the anchors of ego and truly break free to a boundless reality where all things are true, and possible, we break free from conditioning, to the unconditional love and abundance of the lifestream, and ultimate reality, oneness of all things.

It is difficult for doctors to go against the pharmaceutical industry. From medical school on they are taught to be their pushers. Good to see at least one that understands.

It certainly increases my schizophrenia. But I've seen other schizophrenics use it without any real issues.

However, eating cannabis has a much more pleasing effect. calms down anxiety alot and doesn't bring about psychosis.

I support and believe I marijuana use mainly for medical perpouses. I wish the system would realize how much life's can be saved and the benefits it has w different symptoms and diseases. I heard doctors concerns, they wander what came first, the marijuana use causing psychosis or the psychosis leading to marijuana use.
In Israel (my home land) they legalized the use of medical marijuana.
now I live in Norway and they are very very against it, for all purposes.
I'm happy your family support u and your use.
