MMJ Needs lower prices!

First off, let me state im not a patient or anything.

Ok, as we all know, medical MJ is some of the most expensive bud around wth prices average atleast $15 a gram. Now, it is dank bud, yes but dont see why they cant lower the price. I mean, its a plant so you could have a unlimited supply of it and its for people that really need its healing powers. For the good of the people that suffer and use it to alleviate pain why cant they lower the price to 5 a gram or so? The high prices make dispensaries no better then the large money whoring pharmaceutical companies. Granted, you can grow your own but not everyone has the time/resources to be able to grow decent bud.

 

I would love it if prices went down as well, but this will not happen. I just can't see it. You should look at having a card as a special gift and not complain about the prices. Thought $15 a gram is ridiculous over-priced. In my opinion if you have the money to get the card in the first place after going through the doctors and getting the papers and such, your next step should be able to grow.

I don't know about you, but i can get good buds without a card no problem. Sometimes i get some not so good buds, but for the most part its pretty consistent. So why would i get a card to pay more money for bud? Sounds dumb to me..

Using time as an excuse is dumb...you can LEGALLY grow...so start growing. Of course certain peoples housing can make it difficult, but if you want to grow, you will find a way. My younger brothers good friends father got his card two years ago. He got the card to grow, again, anyone can buy bud. He puts one other person on his co-sign which is his partner, not wife. Between both of them they can have legally 38 plants, id have to double check that but i'm pretty sure that is the number. That is A LOT of weed for two people lol. Everyone related to him gets free weed.

Thats the point of the card, so you can grow. It may take you awhile to learn, but its so worth it, just think long and hard about it for a second.... Even if you are in a living situation where you only have the physical room to grow 4 plants, you can still learn a great deal if you try. Their are many ways to grown without growing your electric bill.

Start researching and start growing I see my doctor 5 too 8 months depending. I will ask him for the papers so i can get the card. I don't believe i will have any trouble. When i do get the card, which i will, you can bet im not going to buy more expensive bud, im gonna start growing. Instead of paying more for bud, use that same money to invest in your own harvest.

I have a card, and I am not paying 15 a gram. I never pay more then 200 an oz, and the quality is better then anything at a dispenersy. Most of them have a crap selection and B grade product. The key is finding some good growers, but that is the key anywhere.

Plus if you go to a dispenersy they charge tax and keep a written record of everything you buy, no thanks.

 

try not having MM/j at all.. I dont know how you can complain at all in a state that has it.. When states that dont should be bitching up a storm, but they are not.. So fuck em let em smoke carck!!

 

Allot of is "b garde" out here goes to the east cost and fetches 60 an 1/8th, and they are glad to get it.

I am thankful to live in a medical state, but that also means everyone has it, so in order to compete, you need quality. It's a good market for us buyers.

 

yea paying around 200$ for an OZ. from delivery services....they have less expensive at some shops

 

I wouldnt even bother buying medical bud, just sell me the shake and trims.. save 100's and still get the same high..

 

25-40 for an oz of shake, not a bad deal if you don't mind smoking more.

Here is why it's more expensive...

Do your local dealer know the breakdown of chemicals in your marijuana? does he know the exact level of THC in your bud? How about the percentage of CBN? Does your local dealer know what other chemicals are in your weed? Whether it was organically grown or grown with dirty fertilizer chock full of chemicals? Or made with natural fertilizer? Not likely because they are not having it sent somewhere to be rigorously tested to make sure you have a 100% clean product and know the breakdown percentage of each cannabinoid in their product... This is what responsible dispensaries do... that's why it costs so much more... there is less overhead because they are a legit business and must do things a certain way.. which means investing more resources than your average local doper

 

Actually yes mine do. I know and have seen the chemical free way my meds get grown. Many dispenseres work with a few growers only, and many don't test. I have only seen two that do, most times the owner of the shop makes a judgment call the same way a black market buyer does, a good look and sniff of a bag that's it. There are only a few labs that even do such a service and they don't do it for free.

 

Canada is usualy cheaper then most places in the US.

 

Street weed needs to be cheaper too! If I could get my shit for $15 a gram or like $10 if buying in bulk from a reputable place I'd be in heaven. Im stuck buying an 8th for 50, from some guy in a car, without any guarantee of quality!

 

in Canada I've heard that's right. at least thats what the dispensary in Hamilton apparently sells it for.
