I have a prescription for 10mg hydro and have for several years but I'm having a bad reaction and it seems to be getting worse. I still like the drug but after about three days my ankles start to swell. After that I seem to bruise easily and get bright red spots on my arms. After about 6 days, which is when I have use the entire 60 pill prescription I have the withdrawal symptoms, appetite loss, lethargy etc. Anybody else. I just hate to give up my opiates. Is this going to be for all opiates or just Hydrocodone?

Hopefully its just for hydrocodone. If you get them prescribed, just explain this to your doctor and they will get you on something different. Sounds like you are mildly allergic to it and is uncommon but not unheard of. Just talk to you doctor and they will get it sorted out.

Ive never heard about that kind of reaction from from an opiate. Are you sure that the hydrocodone is whats causing it? You might be allergic to the apap. But i doubt its either. If youve been taking them for years it would seem unlikely that they would start making you sick now. I would talk to your doctor. Just be honest and see if they can arrange some kind of allergy test. Hope you feel better!

POSSIBLE allergic reaction that has JUST developed to another factor the OP may not have mentioned. But go to you dr. and ask for 10mg percocet.
