    do you censor yourself? often?
what makes you stop/ censor yourself??
or what compels you to speak out??

i find often i am UNEASY expressing myself in hard fucking vulgarities around certain people -
i love lots of people who are sensitive to swearing,
and i am happy to be sensitive to that, and talk without swearing, +

but as i have sensitive friends,
i also have friends who we swear cuntfucking storms together..
and i guess it is hard for me to work it out online........

    what about
    expressing yourself..??

maybe at times express yourself differently,
    different states of mind

also i wonder about a balance of thoughtfulness and selfishness,
maybe it is where you draw the line between self-indulgence and insulated complacency?

I try to be really careful not to cuss around children and I don't think I ever cussed around my grandmother.

I say whatever the fuck I want around everybody else.

The only thing I ever have to curb is my tendency to use a lot of innuendo, sarcasm, swearing and twisted humour. I hold back infront of the inlaws, colleagues or anyone official, and a few of the friends who wouldn't really get it. I also hold back infront of children when I'm in a position of responsibility...purely because I'd get into trouble, not because I want to hide things from kids. When I have my own they'll get the same treatment as I did...the truth about life, swear words included.

If you want to find out if a person considers substance or fluff to be more important in life, curse in front of them...

If someone is too fucking stupid to understand that the medium is not more important then the message... then fuck them and their fucked up morals...

i censor myself fairly regularly. i rarely swear in front of my mum and never ever in front of my dad. i often watch what i say, as i can be sarcastic or rude (which i do in a humourous way i believe) but not everyone gets it and take offence. my boyfriend is also very sensitive so i'm always moderating what i say around him so not to start him off on one of his bitchin and moanin sessions. my best friend and my sister i also feel i have to tip toe around with what i say. i must gravitate towards these sensitive people, that i am truely not suited for.

i speak out if i believe people are being unreasonable and then i let fly regardless of who it is. i often get into rows with the boyfriend when i don't let things go, just because it's him, but to be honest i rarely row with anyone else and usually let things slide.

i don't swear a whole lot, so it doesn't come up too often when it would be inappropriate.

i do have a problem where i keep telling the truth to my superiors at work, even though they don't want to hear it.

My parent's would always tell my sibling's and I to always say our pleases and thank you's, but I recon my swearing's gotten worse since I'd started working with kid's, I just cant help it.

I'm not sure how it started, but my parents, brother, sister and a few friend's say "what, ****?" "cheers ****" or "cheers kent" on the odd occasion.

Anyway, my mum was babysitting a four year old and a two year old about a month back and without thinking, one of us say's "cheers ****" and the little two year old, who's just starting to talk more clearly, mimicked.

We were all afraid she'd say it again, so devised a plan that if the mother called us on it, we'd say the kid was saying "cheese cake" and not a naughty word. :2thumbsup: So, there is a way around it!

I should probably censor myself more but I gave it up years ago when I decided to be myself.
when I'm drunk everything comes out. what you see is what you get.

to avoid getting in trouble for things i would not consider worth getting in trouble for. i feel of course much freer to rant and speak my mind on line, then every i would in person in real life.

Notice how its usually the shorter guys that have to swear more or fake a deeper voice

    As for the internet and
    expressing myself
I find using different sized fonts gives me a Woody

And I try not to use words with more than two syllables around Americans

not swearing around family makes sense, i hear lots of people who do exactly that...
my fam swears like fuck all out of control, and i find sometimes though i do swear plenty heavy - i have to KEEP UP with them.....

i swear LESS around my one cousin who has always been my best friend -
she swears real heavy (like i do), but i think my very protectiveness of her makes me treat her with kid gloves...

i find often my kindness or protectiveness makes me MORE (overly) gentle than the people i am around, especially women.........

i do that too, in problem solving/and working - get to the fucking truth real fast, i feel..
i like blunt reality in work, i find plenty of people do to, people i know do, i guess it's circles...
it is like death in your heart though, when you work a job where it's weird complicated mind puzzles; keeping track of who what fucking said what and how who feels wants what when..??.. fucking FORGET IT!!!!
glad i am self employed!! hahaha [IMG]

i like font sizesand colors too +

I constantly have to censor myself and rearrange what I would say in my head before I say it. Part of it is because I have quite the silver tongue, and part of it is having to dumb my speech down a bit for the average people or else I come across as a COMPLETE JERK.

    Toodles!!!
