Jersey shore hate?

IMO just famemongers after 15 minutes in the spotlight, which doesn't make for good viewing. Having said that, I struggle to find any good t.v shows at the moment apart from a good few!

 

Apparently, the Italians are up in arms due to the Jersey Shore takeover goin on in their country.

i find that show funny as shit even through it makes Italians looks bad

 

Because their girlfriends force them to watch it...

 

I moved down the shore after living mostly in NY & North Jersey. I saw that show once or twice- - It certainly isnt whats goin on by me.
I guess TV ratings soar when it shows behavior indicative of mental disorders. :willy_nilly:

 

I can't stand that show.

 

Honestly, i've never watched it. I'm not really in to the whole scripted reality show craze that's been taking place for years.

 

The reality of this "show" (and others like it) is IT WILL rot your brain...

 

The show is bollocks, just like the rest of the reality shit that Survivor started back in the late 90's. I can't wait for Beavis and Butthead to return and make fun of it.

Jersey Shore is great... if you have a sophisticated enough sense of humor to truly understand it. Unfortunately, most people don't. It's like a litmus test.

Jersey is an odd place, full of local idiosyncrasies and geographical scenic beauty (hence it's title, "Garden State"). It's extremely diverse and it's impossible to make a statement about it that would hold true of all of it. I don't have any problems with people hating New Jersey, but I've been all over this country and I've run into larger ratios or immature, uneducated people concentrated in the Midwest, the South, and New England for that matter (not trying to generalize). Also, isn't only one cast member actually from NJ?

why do people bother with something if they don't like it?
for profit media is only interested in what they can attract advertising revinue for,
so if people didn't watch things they didn't like ...

obviously there's something else going on here, for there to even be threads about doing os, or for that matter, a media forum

 

I don't really watch much tv, and I don't mind the show that much, but it's crazy how much of an influence it has on people. I was on the bus today, and there were like 15 Snooki's. I've watched ten minutes or so, just not my thing.

 

Being born and raised in Jersey I've never seen a single soul act like the characters on that show. Perhaps because hardly any of them are actually from Jersey.

 

jersey shore is the stupidest most brain numbing show on television. just made this account and couldnt help but say something about the topic. if the entire jersey shore cast fell of the planet i think we would be better off.

 

I'd rather watch infomercials about useless household products for 10 hours straight. At least that makes more sense than Jersey Shore.
