Say, you get up, pour coffee/tea/soda in a cup and boot up - what is your routine like? Facebook first and browse? Ebay and check bids and auctions? Email and see what you have got? News and Sports? How many sites do you have to login? And is there a site that just sucks up a lot of your free time? I'm not ashamed to say I get sucked up by FB, mostly cause I'm on Pet Tales and the little puppy I got there IS JUST SO DARN CUTE! :love: I type up stories on proboard's. I got a particular favorite site atm set in the year 2100 right now. Email's are usually a third priority in the morning's. I get junkmail on viagra occassionally... Then there's Hip Forum's. I usually have about four or five tab's going on at once.
I check FB then this immediately. Then I check my crafting forum to see what's going on and try to get inspiration. Then I stumble, or go on pinterest or write. Depends on my mood really. But under my "Most Visited" HF is first hahaha!
fur affinity, furst stop. check out all the new submissions from those on my watch list, sometimes stop out front to see if someone i don't know yet has submitted something interesting to me. then after i go through those, go through their new journal entries and comments on my art and comments on my comments on their art and journals. this takes up probably about half of my connect time. oh and just as a btw, i'm almost always on the computer itself, making my own art or playing with train sims, for hours before and after logging on. second stop, generally is nation states, were i'm cameroi. to keep up with issues and see if there's topics for me to rant on. as their usually is. from there i go watch amy goodman, or check my yahoo mail. sometimes after that, or if there's a link to something on there from either of those first two, i'll watch a couple of things of some kind on you tube, usually either about trains, or something done with an animation program i use to model with, called blender, or sometimes anime or game stuff. then, after all that, if i still want more fix of internet, i come here. after here there's sacfurs and or sci-furs. there's be a lot more and a lot more time spent on line if i had unlimited. but the place where i live doesn't have wifi nor landline, so i have to spend way too much for something called wwan. so i don't get to spend as much time on line as i otherwise would. as i most likely will again, if and when i can get into a place where i can have my own broadband land-line. i don't i.m., social network, or go to media sites, which i consider to be totally useless and not what i internet for. nor do i shop on line. i don't have pay pal and doubt i'll ever set it up, and i don't use credit at all, so there you go.
boot up itunes first, get some music on. then check last fm for shouts, inbox messages check emails and facebook check jobcentre for any new jobs check hipforums that's about it really.
Email, facebook, this place. Then randomly I will check news or find out about stuff. I'll often be done after a few minutes. It's amazing how little time I spend online compared to what I used to.
Email (reply to any new ones) facebook and here...then I roam free. I have a few sites I visit regularly to get my news and entertainment. I quite often have a mini Youtube session before realising I've got a day to get on with.
Well, my routine last about 3 minutes. I wake up, check groupon, living social, my email, and finally facebook. Most of my Internet use is sporadic.
1. Jump through some hoops to get the college wi-fi and my computer to agree. 2. Facebook. Just look at the top of my news feed, see if there are any notifications, etc. Check to see if I want to chat with anyone, but not usually. This tab stays open. 3. Hipforums, just a quick run down of stuff, unless I am having some issue, then I'll search and see if anyone else has anything to say. 4. Every few days I check out an Urban Exploration forum just to see if anyone has anything cool to say. I'm pretty much a lurker on there because I don't participate, myself. 5. Finally start on whatever assignment I initially got on the computer for, all the while leaving facebook up in the background.
How dare you!! I've really only liked posts that BBAD put in the "like this post" game that failed miserably... I have not disliked any posts yet...but maybe I should start! Mwahahahaha!
