I just got done typing in the question of whether or not one of my medications is toxic with the intent of killing myself. Then I thought, why not just be happy? Just live. Throw caution to the wind. Be happy.
hey, glad to hear that you decided to just be happy. you might want to check out www.suicideforum.com or a help line www.befrienders.org just in case you get the same feeling again
You are a much bigger person than most to come to such a realization! And like e7m8 said, there are resources for those times when you're feeling down. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago when I was driving my truck and I thought to myself that I could drive off the cliff and never be seen or heard from again. But I ended up pulling myself back just like you and thinking about happiness. Congrats!
Remember that your current circumstances are TEMPORARY - and things will change. e7m8 has given you some very good links to follow, too.
The philosopher Nietzsche said: "It is through thoughts of suicide that get us through a very bad night". Meaning I suppose that to contemplate suicide can be a comfort - it is an option, but that to carry it through is a very grave deed.We all all have our bad days (weeks?) but things can get better.Keep on casting those seeds of hope.
