I just got done typing in the question of whether or not one of my medications is toxic with the intent of killing myself. Then I thought, why not just be happy? Just live. Throw caution to the wind. Be happy.

You are a much bigger person than most to come to such a realization!

And like e7m8 said, there are resources for those times when you're feeling down.

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago when I was driving my truck and I thought to myself that I could drive off the cliff and never be seen or heard from again. But I ended up pulling myself back just like you and thinking about happiness.

    Congrats!

Remember that your current circumstances are TEMPORARY - and things will change. e7m8 has given you some very good links to follow, too.

The philosopher Nietzsche said: "It is through thoughts of suicide that get us through a very bad night". Meaning I suppose that to contemplate suicide can be a comfort - it is an option, but that to carry it through is a very grave deed.We all all have our bad days (weeks?) but things can get better.Keep on casting those seeds of hope.
