I'm a French Canadian californian so..

i kind of wish i was canadian. born in buffalo new york. came to california at age 3. lived right here in california's surreal nervana mountains, along the corridor over donner summit between sacramento and reno, more then 40 of my 63 years, most of them in placer county. i'd love to live someplace that was mountains and forests and not in cities, which describes the part of california where i grew up. i'm not happy in roseville, which is just northeast of sacramento and still down here in this damd stinking hot valley. but i'd almost have to have a truck or a car of some kind not to live in larger towns, and then i'd be too broke for anything else, so i don't entirely want that either. thinking about heading back up to rain country. the decade i lived in oregon and the couple of years i spent in washington state would have been good if i had the income i have now. don't know what will actually happen though, nor if nor when.

Canada. I don't stay here just because I was born here, it really is an amazing place. Big, beautiful, and liberal.
