I have done adhd and add medicines off and one for two years, both eating and snorting, i know i have a tolerance to this stuff now because i have been taking vyvanse this week, popping a 70mg like once a day before school. my last proper rush off of it was yesterday, today i still felt it thought it was.. dulled/muted, so to speak. they are 70mg's and yesterday i had one, today i had two. my question is if i want to get a legitimate rush from them again, how much do you suggest i try taking tomorrow? or should i wait a few days to try again? (which i would rather avoid). Im 17, 145lbs, and 6'2". I am well aware of side effects and/or dangers and i know my body and limits well enough. I would just like suggestions on how much you think i should take, and what you think i might be able to do to bring back that euphoria, energy, and sociability, that comes with a good amphetamine/d-amphetamine/etc High.
I have been taking either Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta, or Vyvanse for over three years straight now and I never noticed any sort of tolerance increase. I pretty much have taken the same equipotent dose (30mg Adderall, 90mg Concerta/Ritalin, 50mg Vyvanse) per day the whole time, and I still get great euphoric rushes. Just try to keep your dose at a steady amount. That is the best thing to do. Don't keep pushing doses higher and then you will appreciate the 70mg or whatever you mentioned.
I've been taking Dexedrine for about 6 months now and built a tolerance after the first 2 weeks. I have tried not taking it for like 5 days and I still don't get any euphoric rush like I did those first 2 weeks. Guess everyone's system is different.
Yeah, I am lucky with amphetamines that I never built up a tolerance (every morning is like taking it again for the first time), but opioids build a HELL of a tolerance in me. I went from needing 100mg of Tramadol to get high at first to needing 600mg to get the same feeling only THREE MONTHS later. Yikes. Glad I got off of that train.
Euphoric rushes from amphetamines are a flighting thing. Plenty of nutrition and sleep, then you're as ready to catch one as you ever will be. I will say that, while it doesn't last long, and will hurt you in the wallet, good coke never dissapoints in that regard. But again to that point, suppose you got the disposable income. a tablet or capsule of speed is what it is. I've had the the sleight of hand el switcheroo done on me many of time after sucking a round of stuff that would let you rip out your own teeth with pliers if you had to, as well as be a sexual Conan the Barbarian, then get back to my place and it's NOTHING. Harder to counterfiet (sp) a pill than just sell the real thing. You pretty much know what you are getting. Whether or not you have a joygasm is just up to the whims of your brain
I'd say give it a few days. I used to do Adderall and Dexedrine very frequently in highschool. Whenever I laid off it for a couple days then did 60mgs parachuted (very quickly I developed a hate for snorting that stuff) I would be back as I as I was before.
Since we are talking about Dexedrine here, I just wanted to say that I have a 'review' of pure dextroamphetamine coming up within the next few days. I found a way to obtain it 'from what I have'. So please don't ask me how I did it. Just know that I am very excited to review it and tell you about it. I haven't insufflated any stimulants in a very long time, and have missed doing so for a long long time. So I am very happy to have this ability back. I'll tell you all about it later , when I hopefully will complete the 'task'.
i have been taking adderall for about 12 years now, and i am 33, diagnosed with adhd and take 60mg xr orally every morning. I can take this dose, eat a meal and go to sleep. however, i find that if i dont take the medication, i am barely able to remove myself from the couch let alone get anythinng done. i have also found that in conjuction with effexor 75mg, both drugs potentiate eachother, and if you drink a redbull or amp on top of the meds, they are potentiated even more. I have found myself drinking at least 2 amps or giant redbulls a day on top of my meds just to make it through the day.
Just wait until your tolerance goes down a bit, and you'll still enjoy it. Whatever you do, don't try meth. You'll definitely get the rush, but at a price. First you'll reach into your wallet until it's empty. Then you'll drain your bank account. Then you'll start looking around for things to sell. When there's nothing left to sell, you'll look around for things to steal. When you get caught, you'll be trying to score in jail. When you get out of jail you'll either be selling for someone you met in jail or you'll be making your own. Then when you get caught you'll still be trying to score in prison. It's like a giant mouse trap that lets you take the bait a few times, then wham!
