this may seem stupid but theres this one girl that i have known for almost 12 years and well im in love with her but she tells me that she couldnt see us as a couple becuase of how close we are, i mean i know her better than her parents, but anyways she conciders me more of a brother more than a boyfriend...and this is the only girl i have ever felt like this towards and i guess im just wondering why is it that most dick heads get girls like her and the ones who have always been there get thrown in the dust...

You're young... Stick with it... In a few years, she may decide that you are more than a brother... :)

I think she is comparing apples and oranges. I don't buy the whole idea of you're just like a brother. Every relationship should start out as best friends. And aren't brothers and sisters usually best friends? I think, without hurting your feelings, she just doesn't find you attractive. Most people pull the whole brother card if they aren't really into you, whether it be your personality or looks.
