Ugh. I really wanted to step down to 2mg Suboxone today, from 2.5mg, but I just couldn't force myself to do it. I am finally hitting a point in my down-taper that is noticeable and uncomfortable. But I MUST proceed and I will only push my deadline to go to 2mg to Monday. Please wish me luck!

Recall, just a month ago I was taking between 6mg and 8mg of Suboxone per day. This is good progress IMO.

I couldn't help it today: I had 4mg of Suboxone as a treat. It was great.

 

TOOK my last 30 mg at 8am on sunday, nothing since.....appt on wednesday..... not feeling too too bad, shits, little sore, stomach ache, no sweats, no real rls, but tossing and turning a ton in bed......hopefully tonight will be better since i didnt sleep well last night.....sigh.........sure am tired of this cycle.....

PC, what the fuck happened? Did you run out early? Bro its a terrible cycle as you well know. You really need to find you some Subs or something to take during the last week before refills, SUBS work great for it. Problem is, you already have two Drs, getting a sub Dr will surely throw up some flags. I did it b4 all the BS script monitoring got into place here in FL and then got out. When I stopped, I had a couple of months supply. Which in your case would last a long time only taking it at shot intervals once a month.....

 

Well i was supposed to get some dilly yesterday and waited all day for the call but it never came so i decided to cook up the rest of my poppies. About 20 grams worth. I was able to purge the material twice and the second fucked me up more than the first. I don't think i squeezed them out enough in my first pull though.

Oh and 60 mg of ambien really boosted the effects.

well got lucky, lol as i usually do, lol, called to check my appt for tomorrow, they said i didnt have one, so i was able to slide in today, and the filed my scrips technically 4 days early, so wheeeeeeeeew, lucked out, "found" a 15 mg roxy, and 4 4mg dilaudids while i had to run around town....now im choppin opana lines before dinner!!!!!!!!!!!! one day my luck is gonna run out.......

i really thought about kicking, as i was like 60 hours without anything and really wasnt feeling that bad at all......was really dumb founded, but once i got an appt, for today, that idea was long gone!!!!!!!!!!

 

I am pretty amazed at how my tolerance has dropped since i started weening off of Subs. I am down to 2mg per day now, but I "sneak" in a higher dose every 10 days or so.

Yesterday sucked, so in addition to the 2mg I took around Noon, I took another 2mg at 3:00 pm. Now this is only 4mg, which woud barely get me a buzz two months ago. I was so high that I could barely drive. I had to go to the doctors (for an unrelated issue) and I was legitimately worried about my reaction times because i was completely numb and blissful. It was probably the strongest opioid high I have had in 6 months, regardless of dose.

So I am going to keep going down but still throw in a "curveball" day every once in awhile, and as tolerance goes down, I'll be excited to get highs like i USED to get back in "the day."

As a joke, I also got a flu shot at the doctor's (to whom i drove to high as a kite), and I could literally only feel pressure on my skin when i got the injection haha. I couldn't even tell that it went in, that's how much analgesia I had. And usually I get a LOT of pain from flu shots! Today, though, the site of the injection is sore haha.

Also, note that I am not promoting drugged driving. It was a bad idea and I probably won't let it happen again. Don't read into this as "yeah man, drivin' stoned on dope is cool shit"!

You are correct. I am given Suboxone for treatment resistant Schizoaffective Bipolar Disorder, which, briefly put, is a combination of Paranoid Schizophrenia and extreme mood swings.

So when I said yesterday sucked, I meant that in psychological terms. It was a very stressful, taxing day.

 

Uhh. Ambien is pretty darn fun.

 

Do amphetamines not affect your paranoia and mood swing disorders?

 

Actually, they don't. It is pretty complex, the neurochemistry of Schizoaffective Disorder. But most (good) psychiatrists agree that IF and ONLY IF a Bipolar/Schizoaffective person is properly stabilized with some sort of Mood Stabilizing Agent (in my case, Zyprexa), AND their depressive symptoms still persist, then Amphetamine can be added with caution.

On the combination of the Zyprexa and amphetamine, I have not once encountered symptoms of paranoia nor extreme mood swings. The brain chemistry is not yet fully understood, so I won't begin to hypothesize why it works this way.

It is analogous to the phrase "The sum of the two combined is greater than the individual pieces by themselves summed."

I guess that poppy tea really boosted my tolerance. Before the tea I hadn't had opiates in a few weeks so I figured 70 mg should be plenty.
This sucks. I guess its better than nothing...
