Ok this has been on my mind for a little while right now..

You guys know how the theory is that we slowly evolved from monkeys and became to be what we are now in the present moment.

Lol that sounds freaking creepy... a human being born from an ape . Can you imagine yourself(a new species) coming out of an ape's vagina? If i were the ape, I'd be totally freaked out i mean we only have a little bit of hair and aren't as big compared to them. Im so confused..

No...it's not that humans came from apes, it's a theory that humans and apes evolved from the same creature. Humans adapted mentally to the environment, whereas primates evolved physically. It isn't so much that we came from apes, we're just cousins with them.

Anything is possible but i honestly don't believe the evolution theory is the real answer.

Don't know why, its just a feeling.

It happens slowly, over time. A species doesn't just give birth to another species.

Also, it's not that we evolved from apes exactly, it's that all modern apes descend from a common ancestor.

    For fucks sake

It wasn't something that happened in the 19th century.

You can see how things do evolve, like how fashion evolves with some fashions dying out and some surviving, or how cars look different now than they did in the 80s, but it wasn't just one day that they changed, they evolved

That momma monkey must have really freaked out when she saw the new human species baby come out! How did the human kid learn to talk and sing since the momma monkey could only grunt and make howling noises? lol

    that's
    not
    exactly
    how
    it
    works

but we are more then 23,000 years old, and that's not even a pimple on the ass of the youngest rocks, or even species of trees.

Evolution is a truely complex notion but to me it makes complete sense that it is the driving force in all of life development. Some people toss religion into the mix and claim that nullifys evolutions validity. Seems to me the two ideas could easily co-exist. I like the idea of being a relative of other primates. Gives all the more reason to respect other forms of life. I'd be just as pleased if we were possibly evolved from the dolphins in some way. Those are some pretty cool folks too.

with all the wrong in the world - i'm glad there's at least one person concerned about human birth via ape vaginas more than anything else.

Sheesh, I guess you went to one of those schools where they told you the dinosaurs co-existed with humans...

i'm sorry if i came off as derisive. they didn't teach me much at school either

most adults don't understand thinkers who shaped the modern world. They don't teach Darwin or Freud/Jung or Marx in schools because it's still political. I don't for a second believe that children can't understand these things, it is completely intentional that people are ignorant about the ideas that intellectuals created during industrialisation because they undermine the principles of the societies we live in once you understand them

Maybe it isn't even a thing related to modern history, they don't teach Plato in school either, adults are generally afraid of reading it because it is so old and pretty difficult but noone has a problem with the Bible or Koran (which actually say pretty much the same thing as Socrates in a slightly stupider way...)

Actually the process is gradual and multi-pronged. New evidence shows that humans (as we know them basically) co-existed with more primitive human-like apes, and even mated with them. OP sounds like a troll though. There is soooooo much confusion about the theory of evolution. It does not say that one day an orangutang gave birth to a human child. It doesn't work like that. Rather, certain species of apes began having children which, every generation, would be ever so slightly closer to how we look today. The process takes millions of years and thousands of generations.
