**SORRY FOR THE LENGTH** (I typed this at about 4am last this morning) Okay, i dont even know how to start really. I was interested in salvia a long time ago but i didnt get it to work. Today i recently got some white sage from my friend. She said she smoked it to get a little high once in a while, and i was like alright, whatever. (thinking it was like, some K2 kind of product) So i take it home and i type it in and i see "White Sage, (Salvia Apiana). so naturally i picked up first on SALVIA, (tell me im not the only one that would do that?) And, so i see the rest of it and im like.. Shit but i decide to look it up anyway, i had nothing better to do. I see very little information about this strain of salvia, and i try various keywords including: high, smoke, hallucinate, trip. And of the small amount of results i was seeing, it was enough to convince me it might be worth trying. (just to add some foreshadowing, my bed is literally spinning left in circles right now, theres even wind, and my windows keep flying past behind my laptop) So i ask her how much i should do and she said shes only ever done 3 of the little dry leaves. So i figure... well, ill probably be good for 8 or so. I pack a bowl consisting of about 3 leaves. I hold the lighter to it so that it can heat up, and then i pull gently until the leaves catch flame. Now with the leaves hot enough to release whatever chemicals they may be hiding from my brain, i take a big pull and hold it in. I hold it in for 30 seconds because at about 28 i began to feel some kick in. It really doesnt feel like any more than the smallest weed buzz ever. Except slightly more sedated type of buzz, and slightly numb in a way. I take another hit the same way, and again. I checked if it was cashed. And waited for a few minutes (it kicks in really fast, at most by a minute, Also, I keep hearing an owl right next to my ear, and now the bed is spinning the other way, and.. oh wait. i figured out how to stop my bed!) Texting my friend who gave it to me while i wait, and noticing the stronger sort of numbing body buzz that was tingly at the same time. My mind felt absolutely fine. When i figured it was safe to smoke more, i followed up with the same exact amount as before. And wait a little bit again. (by the 4th hit i had been noticing slight visual distortions and minor hallucinations in peripheral) And for my final time, i decided to pack 3/4 of my bowl with this pretty good weed i got today, and then i took two leaves and spread them around the top. I lit the leaves first and they gave me about 2 and a half good hits, and then the cherry sunk down into the weed, giving me two hot lungfuls of mixed weed and salvia apiana smoke. I am definitely noticing the salvia starting to affect me, and the weed added a little bit but i usually have to smoke a lot of weed. Gathering all my stuff at the window i carried it over to my bed, but on the way when i walked past stuff, it would seem to like, move into my way, and i would walk around an object that wasnt in my way and had never moved! i was feeling pretty happy about this, not knowing that the full force of this fun, satisfactorily effective hallucinogen hadn't even begun. That is when i lay down in this spinning bed. (its a simple twin bed in a wood frame) I started sending a text but then i noticed the edges around my phone where i could see my room started to mix together and swirl, and if i closed one eye, my entire viewing angle would change, and my phone would look tilted and fatter on one side, and my arms would seem so far away and had red sleeves when in fact, im shirtless. Anyway, sorry for all the examples of it, just.. they all add up to yes, Salvia Apiana, also known as White Sage, Did get me high, and did cause me to hallucinate pretty heavily. coming up depended on how long you take to smoke/how much you do: 5 minutes. Peak lasted about 10 minutes of a complete distortion of everything you see, and fun dizzying sensation. It was not like when you get the sick-dizzying. And, im not peaking anymore but its taking forever to come down, it keeps either coming down farther, or jumping back up to a little under peak levels. Did this intensely for 5 minutes. Anyway, if you have actually read through this, i applaud you, and apologize for the length, spelling, and punctuation.
