Hey guys, I have some outdoor plants. They have buds all over. It is now the first week into September, and due to upcoming weather, and basically no sunlight, I need to know how, and how long they will cope for the time to come. they are in my garden, in the soil that is. And thus can't be brought inside. They are about 2 meters tall, and have the tendency to catch winds easily. At the bottom of the stem, all plants have a little of bit roots showing as result of winds. So because of all this, i'd like to know when to harvest. As it's looking I'm going for an earlier harvest.
Its too early to harvest them The weatheroutlook for your place isnt too bad. Just wait until they are ready.
first...take some soil and cover the damn bottoms of the plants....roots grow throughout the flowering process so you need to get more dirt there.put dirt ALL the way up to the bottom nodes....if the wind is a problem put up a wind screen or put the bbq in front of them..anything big will work.....you have a minimum of 4 more weeks to go[my opinion]
Ok I put some more dirt at the bottom, as you said uo to the first nodes. Hope they are happier now. Is it a problem that there is no more sunlight anymore? Or is this final cycle purely based on a day/night cycle? 4 weeks brings us to the first week of october. Hope they survive, I spend a LOT of attention on these gals
..you should be good till after canadian thanksgiving...i am in the same boat with a couple of my stragglers...i know it looks dismal after 3 days of cloudy weather but statistically we have plenty more sun and time
