baaabyy baaby baabyy do ya liiiiiiiikee it?? theyre so fucking awesome it literally hurts, i feel physical pain, because i was born way too late, and i didnt get to experience zeppelin live. i know there will never be another band that rocks as much as led zeppelin, and it makes me sad, but at least i can listen to their records. and i just rocked out to the dvd!
You obviously haven't heard The Stones or Brian Jonestown Massacre... .... or maybe ya have... I like their first 3 cds, especially III, but from what I've heard after that, I didn't like it too much.
madcrappie, velvet revolver!?!?! what the fuck? are you joking?? ........ what the fuck?? i cant even respond to that.... its like, not even music, theres no soul! soulrebel, gotta check out the fourth album(its untitled), physical grafitti, and houses of the holy. the eighties were a dark time for rock and roll, the earlier albums are better.... oh man, i made the horrid mistake of trying to listen to my dads robert plant solo albums. i knew it was a bad idea but i couldnt resist, i was even warned by several people, but i tried to listen to it anyway, it was the scariest thing ive ever heard. i couldnt listen to one song through. bad disco synthesizer music, and i think at one point he was almost rapping... dont do it people!
Haha Robert Plant solo.... I wasted $2 bucks on a solo Plant album at this pawn shop, I ended up throwing it out into the grass somewhere, it's still out there, been a few months...
*Gets on my knees* WE'RE NOT WORTHY, WE'RE NOT WORTHY!<----Me doing the Waynes World thing. HEHE
If you love Led Zeppelin, and you are pissed off you didnt get a chance to see them live like me, go see Michael White and the White. They are a kick-ass tribute band. I've seen them 4 times now and they are unreal. Tickets are usually 20 bucks, and its worth every penny, I would pay a 100 to see them play. Close your eyes and its like your listening to Zep live. Unreal.
Led Zeppelin is great. Poetry and rhythm at its best. Albums III and IV are the best in my opinion. Every album has has at least one or two gems on them. IV is my absolute favorite.
I'll just state that I do indeed like The New Yardbirds. One mention of the aesthetical properties of either band member though, and I'm makin' for the highlands..
