Exercise. Even if you feel like its the last thing in the world you want to do, you'll feel much better afterwards. It doesn't even have to be anything strenuous. A leisurely walk always gets me amped up.
I had an energy drink today at 10:00 AM for the first time in years. All it did was make me have to pee a lot and then I crashed and burned by 2:30 PM. I didn't even get any more energy from it.
they have taurine in them which is pretty good at relaxing you if you take enough...combats the caffeine jitters

It's an anti depressant in itself. I guess uber mild compared to anti depressants. Rhodiola Rosea has a couple uses. I use it for alertness and physical fatigue. Others use it to fight anxiety and depressed feelings. Look it up on google. Aka golden root, arctic root.
Some herbal anti-depressants aren't safe to take alongside conventional anti-depressants as they can cause serotonin syndrome. I take St John's Wort but this is a big no if you're on SSRIs. In terms of advice, EXERCISE. Move. Sitting still is the worst thing you can do if you feel flat and crappy for no real reason.
