Is there racism in the gay world? of course most of us choose to not admit it because we try and make it seem like gays love everyone. and i understand the difference between preference and racism. but i'm just wondering perhaps what others have heard. so what do you think?

It's out there. You'd like to think that gay people know the sting of hatred, rejection, prejudice, et cetera, and would be more advanced. However, gay men can be as cold and rejecting as anyone else and maybe more so. I've heard gay men seen things and seen gay men do things that would curl your hair.

I agree. For the most part, Gay people I've known are super nice. But there are plenty of gay people who can be as ugly, abusive, and yes, even racist, as anyone else.
It is kind of important to remember, when classifying people into groups, that there are more differences between individuals than there are characteristics that make up one particular group-- concepts like race and conceptional gender/orientation are arbitrary at best.
